According to a recent survey by propertyfinder.com, church conversions were the most popular choice as a converted building. Churches are generally stone built with a wealth of original and characterful features. That's because the Victorians went to town in building the best they could and even tiny villages boast opulent churches. However as congregation levels fall, more and more churches are coming on the market. Some are developed into several smaller apartments whilst others are converted into a single home.
